FERNDALE UNDERGROUND MARKET

There is a new holiday market coming to the Metro Detroit scene. The Ferndale Underground Market is taking place on the lower level of Ferndale’s parking garage at the intersection of Allen and Troy. Event director, Mark Loeb, shares, “The new Ferndale Underground Market is an edgier take on the traditional holiday markets. It features Artists and makers, authors and bakers… basically small independent creative businesses.” He says that the reaction has been quite positive so far. “Virtually everyone we talk to about the market gets excited. Ferndale is a great place with edgier stores and restaurants that appeal to many people. We’re adjusting the concept of Holiday Markets in the same way we alter art fairs for the Funky Ferndale Art Fair.”
